Every morning, 38 children gathered under a giant banyan tree carrying worn notebooks and impossible dreams. During summer, the heat burned their pages. During monsoon, rain erased their lessons before they could finish writing them.
Yet they still came.
A small NGO discovered the village while conducting a health awareness drive. Shocked by the lack of educational infrastructure, they launched a crowdfunding campaign titled:
“One Roof. Endless Futures.”
Within weeks, donations started flowing in from students, teachers, office workers, and even retirees who believed education should never depend on geography.
The raised funds helped build:
Two classrooms
Solar-powered lights
A mini library
Digital learning screens
Free school supplies
Today, the same children who once studied under leaves now study beneath ceiling fans and glowing whiteboards.
The banyan tree still stands beside the school.
Not as a classroom anymore.
But as a reminder of where hope began.
